Efforts and Cultural Positions
- When he was secondary school student, he joined, as a guide, Paul Rovsing Olsen, Danish professor of Folk Music in his field research to collect folk music in Bahrain, 1963.
- Accompanied Swiss professor Simon Jargi in his field research to collect folk songs in Bahrain, 1966.
- Established in 1974 in Bahrain al-Ghad Publishing and Distribution House.
- Established in 1976 in Bahrain the quarterly literary magazine “Kitabat” and assumed the position of editor in chief.
- Developed the documents for and supervised the establishment of the Gulf Cooperation Council Folklore Center in 1982, and was its director for five years.
- Established in 1984 in Qatar the specialized scientific magazine “al-Ma’thourat al-Sha’biah” and assumed the position of editor in chief for three years.
- Established in 1989 the General Secretariat for the National Council for Arts and Culture in the Kingdom of Bahrain and assumed the position of Assistant Secretary General from 1989 to 1997.
- Established in 1994 “al-Bahrain al-Thakafiah” Magazine issued by the National council for Arts and Culture and assumed the position of editor in chief in 2000.
- Assumed the position of Director of Arts and Culture in the Ministry of Information from 1997 to 2000.
- Assumed the establishment of the administration of cultural research in Bahrain Royal Court and assumed its direction.
- Participated in several cultural and intellectual meetings and forums inside and outside Arab countries.
- Held several poetry recitals and participated in numerous Arab poetry festivals (Arab Poetry Festival, Mirbid, Jarash, International Poetry Forum).
- Commissioned by UNESCO to participate in non-governmental experts meetings held in Paris for drafting the Agreement on Intellectual Property Rights, 1979.
- Commissioned by the World International Property Organization (WIPO) to participate in non-governmental experts meetings to draft a modular Arab agreement for the conservation of folklore, 1983.
- Commissioned by the Arab League for Education Culture and Science Organization (ALECSO) to draft the Comprehensive Arab Culture Plan, 1984.
- Some of his poems were included in the preparatory and secondary school syllabi in Bahrain, Qatar, and United Arab Emirates.
- Some of his poems were translated into English, French, Italian and Polish.
- Edited and drafted the Bahrain National Youth Strategy from the reports of eight national consultants in 2005.
- Elected as the Executive Regional Secretary of the Middle East and North Africa at IOV, May 2007.
- Established in Bahrain the Regional office for the Middle East and North Africa at IOV, September 2007.
- Participated in the establishment of the International Festival of Folk Arts, with the cooperation of the Ministry of Information, Bahrain, December 2007.
- Established Folk Culture Studies, Research and publication Archive, Bahrain, November 2007.
- Established, in Bahrain, the specialized scientific quarterly magazine (Folk Culture) with the contribution of IOV.

- Al-Qiassi, Awdet Allah Mani’ “Poet Ali Abdullah Khalifa in contemporary Arab Poetry”, a Masters thesis, supervised by Dr. Suhair Qalamawi, presented to the Arab Institute for Studies and Research/ ALECSO in the League of Arab Nations, and published in the a book entitled “Dirasat fi Abad al-Bahrain” on literature in Bahrain issued by the same organization, Cairo, 1979.
